Last Puzzles (Time And Distance Brain Teaser)

After a long and tiring weekend, two friends to meet and have fun. They decide to meet at exactly half the distance from each other’s houses (middle of the total distance). The distance between their homes is 36 miles. Both start their journey at the same time on their respective bikes at a speed of 6 MPH. They maintain this speed throughout the journey. One of the friends own a pet parrot who starts flying towards the other friend at the very same instant. It keeps flying back and forth till both the friends meet finally. The parrot flies at the constant speed of 20 MPH. Can you calculate the distance that the parrot flew in total ?
